2011 Annual Eagle Awards Dinner
Over 600 business, labor, government and professionals attended the NJ Alliance for Action's Eagle awards dinner at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Brunswick. The dinner has been recognized by New Jersey's leading business newspaper NJ BIZ as one of the State's best networking events. Guests included New Jersey Labor Commissioner Hal Wirths who spoke on behalf of Governor Christie, former Governor Jim Florio, former Congressman Robert Roe, New Jersey State Senator Joe Kyrillos and Assemblyman John Wisniewski.
Alliance Chairman George Laufenberg, who also serves as Administrator of the NJ Carpenters Funds, thanked the attendees for their continued support of the Alliance and its non-partisan agenda of putting New Jerseyans back to work through economic development and job creation in New Jersey's construction industry. Laufenberg noted, that even through the economy is facing some very difficult times support for the mission of the Alliance has never been stronger.
Dinner Chairman Brian Clymer, Senior Vice President, Prudential Insurance Company presided over the presentation of the Alliance's coveted Eagle awards to this years recipients.
