The New Jersey Alliance for Action conducts about 30 events and programs each year. Each meeting provides attendees the important information and the opportunity to network with New Jersey’s business, government, academic and organized labor leaders. A sampling of some of our major events includes:
EAGLE AWARDS DINNER GALA - Recognized by "Business News" newspaper as one of the best ten networking events in the state, the Alliance’s Eagle Awards Dinner Gala has become a "can’t miss" event for New Jersey leaders. A capacity crowd of some 1,000 people jam into the Hyatt Regency - New Brunswick each October to pay tribute to our recipients, each of whom has made a significant contribution toward the economy and quality of life in New Jersey.
This year’s dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012
CONSTRUCTION FORECAST - Attendees at this one-of-a-kind event are provided a special preview of the two year construction programs being prepared by public agencies and private industry in New Jersey. Information from the program can be used to plan investments and develop the labor supply needed to compete for and to finish the anticipated projects. Nearly 300 contractor,
engineering, material supply, labor, equipment dealer, financial institution and bonding firm
leaders attend the program in Trenton each November.
This year’s Forecast will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
GOLF OUTING - Each spring a sell-out crowd joins the Alliance for Action at their Annual Golf Classic for a day of relaxation and fun between business associates. This year’s Golf Outing will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Deal Golf & Country Club.
