Hospital executives from throughout New Jersey will report on their capital construction plans on May 24 at a special conference in Trenton sponsored by the Alliance for Action.
The theme of the conference --- which follows a highly successful one sponsor by the Alliance last year --- is “Building Better Hospitals and Assuring a Healthier New Jersey.”
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. following a continental breakfast and networking at 9 a.m., at the Lafayette Yard Marriott Conference Center adjacent to the War Memorial in downtown Trenton.
One of the featured participants will be John Sheridan, Senior Executive Vice President of Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where Governor Corzine was hospitalized following his auto accident. Sheridan will report on Cooper’s plans for a half-billion dollar cancer institute.
Alliance for Action President Philip K. Beachem said: “New Jersey hospitals are some of the largest investors in New Jersey, pumping billions into the construction industry. Come meet the construction leaders of New Jersey’s hospital industry, listen to their expansion details and participate in a discussion about the future of hospital construction in New Jersey.”
The Alliance’s hospital construction conference last year attracted a large and diversified attendance.
